Who can attend?
Children who are four years old by June 9, 2025, (and are potty trained), through children entering 6th grade in the Fall of 2025.
What does an evening look like?
Children will check in and join their Crew in the main auditorium. We meet together for the opening and Bible lesson, and then Crews break up for crafts, games, and Crew Time. We end the evening with everyone back together in the auditorium.
How much is VBS?
VBS is free! Registering ahead of time helps us with overall counts for supplies, but it is a ministry supported by Grace Baptist Church. We often collect donation items or money for a special project, which will be announced closer to VBS, but that is not mandatory.
What does check-in and check-out look like?
If your child attends AWANA at Grace, it will be a very similar set up. Monday's check-in has an extra step of stopping by tables in the foyer to find out what color Crew your child(ren) is in (Blue, Green, Red, or Yellow). You will walk your child into the auditorium and to their seating section, sign them in with a Crew Leader, and get their name tag/lanyard. At the close of the evening, please return to the same section to sign them out and return the name tag/lanyard.
Will my child be in a group with friends?
Our Crews are divided by grade (4 years old - entering Kindergarten; entering 1st & 2nd; entering 3rd & 4th; entering 5th & 6th). If you have specific questions about the group your child will be in, please contact VBS Director Emily Pausley, epausley@findinggrace.net.
